Wamena Is The Lost Shangrila


Wamena is a district in Jayawijaya, Papua province, Indonesia, as well as the capital of the district. Wamena is located airfield that connects the Jayawijaya with Jayapura.

Wamena is the only largest city located in the central interior of Papua. Wamena is derived from Dani language consisting of two words Wa and Mena, which means Pig Tame.
